Mulligan's Bar and Grill is the fulfillment of a life long dream for Sue and Pat Mulligan.  Born and raised in upstate New York, the Mulligan's dream has been to retire near the university that they both love and the Midwestern people that they enjoy being around.  Pat, a retired Police Officer from the Pinellas County Florida Sheriff's Department, has never missed a Notre Dame home football game in 21 years.  Sue has been running restaurants her whole life, and this is actually the first time she has owned her own restaurant. Last year, Sue and Pat decided to retire early, cash everything in and just do it, so they can benefit being up here while they are still young. 

"We bought the bar, and Pat retired seven years early.  We cashed in everything we have for this bar.  Everything.  So, this is our retirement.  This is where we want to be.  The Midwestern people are what we love.  We love the University of Notre Dame."
